A design that creatively yet simply communicates Gilmore’s integrated and personalized approach

Gilmore Marketing

Gilmore is a multi-national corporation with a wealth of experience in providing content delivery and supply chain services, such as printing, reproduction, financial and IT, to the private and public sectors. As a natural outgrowth of these services, Gilmore formed a new division to offer marketing to their clients in 2011. bv02 was selected to support the launch of Gilmore Marketing with the development of a new website — what we delivered was a flexible marketing platform that reveals their distinct and valuable offering.

Recognizing the need to help their clients stand out in the marketplace, Gilmore Marketing’s approach is to create integrated marketing campaigns using a variety of tactics (e.g. mail, email, microsites, social media) that personalize their clients’ outreach and engage their marketplace. bv02 recognized that we needed to communicate their innovative approach to marketing via this new website, and demonstrate their distinct service offering.

Jumping off from the parent company’s signature blue-toned palette, bv02 designed the site with a modern aesthetic that is driven by engaging infographics. These infographics creatively yet simply communicate Gilmore’s integrated and personalized approach, and how their services work with a company’s existing marketing campaigns. The design clearly demonstrates their differentiator, the “added value” Gilmore Marketing brings to the table.

To show the more human face of the company, the site includes a blog for the company to engage with the community, and build content that shows their value, such as sharing marketing information with their followers. At the same time, the Gilmore Marketing site integrates their social media channels to offer an even deeper connection with the company, and provide more outlets for content. By building the website using the ExpressionEngine CMS, bv02 ensured that it is extensible, and allows Gilmore Marketing to grow their site over time as new services develop or social media channels find popularity.

With this flexible marketing platform, Gilmore Marketing launched itself as a valuable addition to the Gilmore group of companies. It offers an opportunity for true engagement with their clients, with the goal of creating long-term relationships using meaningful content.
