Another year’s IABC Excel Awards have passed, and bv02 has taken home some glass! Our Arctic Watch Video Series captivated the judges and won an Excel Award in the Audiovisual category. bv02 was in full attendance (and dress attire) to accept our award in front of the Ottawa’s communication community.
The IABC (International Association of Business Communicators) provides a professional network of over 15,500 business communication professionals in over 80 countries. This years Excel Awards took place at the Canadian Museum of Nature, with CBC’s Alan Neal as the Emcee. After some great food, lots of laughs, and a evening of rubbing shoulders with Ottawa’s industry leaders, we are both humbled and proud to be part of such a great community.
The winning entry was a series of three videos created to help the public understand what a trip to Arctic Watch Wilderness lodge entails. The first video introduced the viewer to the team at Arctic Watch, the second educated the viewer about the Beluga whale population, and the third demonstrated what a week at Arctic Watch would be like.
